| idler pulley studs. some say torque to 42 lbs and some say snug them with lock-tite. blue or red? good idea to tap the holes before installation? also, i got my covers off and the timing belt seemed a little loose all the way around. the tensioner measured to exactly 4mm out. the tensioner is OEM and only been on for 20K or so. what gives? i'm probably just mis-judging the tension. i just remembered it being tighter when i put it on. does the thermostat just pop out and pop in? or does it get some sealant or anything? i've done them on other cars with no special attention. it just looks on this one that it might be sealed somehow.
